The Colourful Blooms of Spring

In springtime Mother Earth wakes from the long sleep of winter and, yawning, begins the regeneration process anew. Responding to her biding, slowly but surely, the buds appear on the limbs of the naked trees. The ground, satiated with ample moisture from downpours, dons greener hues. Though the temperature is still somewhat antagonistic to the many colourful blooms nature does its best to delight our senses with hardy bunches poking their heads up amidst the fresh grass carpet. Longing for more variety, humans have taken the further initiative and have planted countless blooms in their indoor gardens to satiate their senses.  
Here’s a small sampling of tantalizing flower displays:
