Murdoch Mysteries’ 100th Episode Celebration

Murdoch Mysteries’ 100th Episode Celebration

Murdoch Mysteries, a brilliant Canadian detective series set in the time frame of late 1800’s, first aired in Toronto on Jan 24, 2008. Ninety-nine episodes later, the exciting 100th episode: Holy Matrimony, Murdoch (where the long awaited union of Detective Murdoch (Yannick Bisson) and Dr Julia Ogden (Hélène Joy) transpires), was celebrated on Nov 3, 2014 at the CBC building in Toronto, by more than 1000 fans. The creative blending of fact and fiction of Victorian Era in the 1890’s (brainchild of Maureen Jennings) through meticulous work of the actors, actresses and the production team has invigorated interest in Canadian history and at the same time provided safe family entertainment.
